Asian Roots and Early Expansion

Associated Asia was founded in Taiwan in 1990 and quickly expanded support across Asia. The company started as an editorial services firm focused on technology clients. It grew into a pan-Asian news bureau with editors supported by stringers throughout the region.

Establishing a Global Footprint

The firm registered as an international news bureau in Taiwan, supplying syndicated technology content in multiple languages. Coverage spanned:

  • Australia, Brazil, China, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos

  • Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, United States

  • Associated Asia later opened offices in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and South Korea and incorporated in the British Virgin Islands.

Expanding Into Business Consulting

As Western interest in Asian companies increased, Associated Asia added marketing and business consulting services. The firm supported clients with:

  • Developing strategic alliances and partnerships

  • Capital investment strategy, documentation, and implementation

Shifting to the United States Market

Associated Asia relocated to Silicon Valley in 1999 to support US-based dot.coms operating in Asia. After the dot.com collapse, the company moved to the Dallas Fort Worth area in 2002. Associated Asia continues to leverage global expertise to help companies remain competitive worldwide.
